Located west of Jefferson, this stone arch bridge was built as an underpass for Jordan Avenue.
Built in 1893, an inscription in the bridge gives a contractor named R.D. Chappel. Unfortunately, no information can be found on Mr. Chappel.
Currently, the bridge remains the same as when constructed. It contains a single stone arch span, set on stone substructures. The southwest wing wall extends from the structure at a right angle, unusual of these types of arches.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in excellent condition.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
